In the early 1970s, Marcel Peeters came up with a delicious hazelnut paste. The recipe for his hazelnut paste is based on his grandmother’s old recipe. In the same period he came up with the name Penotti. This name is based on the Italian word for hazelnuts: “nocciole”. The hazelnut spread quickly becomes popular throughout the country.
Peeters Ingredients, the company behind Duo Penotti, brought in Dutch advertising agency Superrebel to put the Duo Penotti brand on the map better. Superrebel brought me in for the redesign of the outdated promotion website Penotti.nl.
