Sleeping (and falling asleep) is not a natural part of every day for many people. The Lyla Sleep Coach app offers sleep training based on five years of scientific research into sleeping problems. When Mr. Upside came on board the brand communication was not based on any brand guidelines.
The basis of the app is a virtual sleep coach that communicates with users in the most natural way possible. Conversational UI Design was therefore an important part of the project. Mr. Upside was approached to improve the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design of the app. One of the things we did, together with the client, was improving the information structure. Which resulted in a far better app navigation. Furthermore the corporate and brand identity was lifted to a more professional level, and major improvements in UX were advised and implemented.
The screens shown show my designs. Not the actual web pages online.
The app is actually a virtual coach that uses Conversational UI to see where things can be approved regarding sleeping and falling asleep. Based on the user’s answers, solutions are proposed. In a 6-week program, the client is taken to significant improvements in sleeping.
