Robeco website UX/UI + Android app design optimisation – Case study

From June 2016 till July 2019 I worked as a Freelance UX & UI Designer at Robeco in Rotterdam. Robeco is a top asset manager with more than 85 years of experience in fund investing, with clients ranging from individuals and companies to institutional investors, such as pension funds. I provided UX/UI Design, Art Direction, Communication Consultancy and some Illustration services.

As a UX designer I was part of a small but dedicated team that is responsible for the online marketing and optimisation of the websites Robeco.nl and Robeco.com.

Optimisation team
When I started, Robeco’s website had not been updated very often in recent years. A small team was formed and is still responsible for the optimisations at Robeco.nl.
User flows, webpages and components
UX + UI and Visual Design I delivered UX & UI Design on a project and call basis. I designed the user experience of entire user flows, individual web pages and small and large parts. Made them more user-friendly and visually more attractive. Earlier I examined the design of the News page, mobile app, Deposit Flow, E-mail templates, the Fund Selector and a large number of Online Marketing pages. The team I was part of consisted of online marketers, a copywriter, interaction designer and worked closely with Robeco Content Managers and Front-end and Back-end developers.
Infographic design
In addition to Visual Design and UX & UI Design, I also previously delivered illustrations, icons and infographics.
