United Nations of Designia
Illustration Nation (and the other variants) were part of the Designia portfolio concept whereby each of my design disciplines got their own online portfolio and as a part of the virtual world ‘United Nations of Designia’ also got its own logo.
Together and yet autonomous
By using the same visual elements (shields, lions and crowns) and typography, a coherent series was created. Only the element inside the shield describes which design discipline is represented.
Color
In the versions shown here the color is missing. But by matching the colors of the flag in the ‘umbrella brand Designia with colored elements such as the inkwell in Illustration Nation, the connection and the hierarchy between the two logos was strengthened.
